All electric SUV The Enspire

The Buick Enspire, which is going to be introduced in China, will probably be one of the major all-electric models of the brand to be accomplished in short-term for the Far East market.

Announcing to participate in the Beijing Motor Show with a brand new project about ten days ago, Buick is planning to lay the foundations of the switching to mass production of a fully electric SUV concept in the short term.

The model comes with the name of Enspire, and as seen on the images Buick designers have decided to use a character with the new model which separates from the brand’s conventional design language that they already have in the product range.

The new concept seems to draw attention to the technical values in addition to its new design look. The Buick Enspire, which we have learned to have a range of 410kw 370 miles (600 km) on a single charge, will eliminate the long-distance hassle thanks to its fast charging technology.

Performance values

Besides its magnificent look, I think its technical specs will grab your attention in the first place.

The new Enspire delivers 550 horsepower with the combination of two electric motor which is an important power value. This power is transmitted to the ground through the four-wheel-drive powertrain, while acceleration from 0 to 60 (100km/h) is claimed as 4 seconds. Although not all details are provided in the battery section, we know that with wireless and fast charging technology, a 40-minute charge is enough to fill up the batteries to 80 percent.

As Buick released only a single image of the interior design, I strongly expect that the company is waiting for the design of the fully digital dashboard. As GM likes experiencing its existing technology with its different models, The Enspire will take Super Cruise semi-autonomous system of CADILLAC CT6

The company has promised to release 20 EV models till 2023, and if the Enspire and it’s stunning design line will be the flagship, we can say its a promising start for switching to EV segment.
