Maserati is about to launch new SUV officially. As you remember It was first introduced to the public as a concept model in 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.
With this new SUV, Levante, Maserati fans are likely to see the newly improved engine choices and enhanced luxury details.
The base Levante model, which is coming with a V6 engine, is starting from $72000, which is a fair price for this stunning design, performance, and quality.
Engine And Performance Options For 2018 Levante
New Levante is coming with 4 different power options with the improved version of the previous engine.
The power output is 3.0L turbocharged V6 345hp and 396p/f torque which makes the acceleration in 6 seconds 0-60m/h.
Another variation is coming with Levante S which has a 424hp and 428p/f torque. Acceleration is in 5.2 seconds 0-60m/h which is slightly more than the base one.
Levante 2018 Has a Diesel Option Too.
The company went for a diesel option with this new model which has a quite satisfactory power for Maserati lovers.
With a 3.0L V8 270hp diesel engine, it’s reaching 60m/h in 6.9 seconds but with a greater torque of 600Nm which is not available for US buyers.
While the diesel engine emission rate is around 190 g/km of CO2, the more powerful petrol one is 253 g/km of CO2.
New Levante is coming with standart four-wheel driving configuration with all versions.
No one can deny that new Levante has an aggressive and powerful look at the front with this and razor-sharp headlights and large chromium grill with fog lights placed right under the headlights on the front bumper. According to the company, Levante has an exceptionally low coefficient drag of 0.31, which improves the performance.
New Levante is coming with enhanced luxury details. With a modern and minimalistic dashboard, it is coming with leather upholstery and leather coated steering wheel.
Besides luxury, Levante also has technological infotainment improvements which are served by an enlarged 8.4-inch screen and 8 peaker audio system- also available for an upgrade to a 14-speaker Harman Kardon or a 17-speaker system signed by Bowers & Wilkins.
Pricing & Release Date
New Levante base model is available for $72K, while the S model is coming from $83K. The model will go on sale this September.
